Doc misses practice, expected to coach in the Miami game

Doc Rivers is not with the team today due to a personal matter. He's expected to rejoin team tomorrow before flight to Miami.

Doc is not with the team for today's practice but is expected to rejoin the team tomorrow and for Wednesday vs. Miami.

I hope this is nothing serious for him or his family.

Yeah, "personal matter" is pretty vague and can mean a lot of things.  Hopefully it doesn't mean anything serious since he expects to coach the game on Wednesday.
