Boston trades = Lester Hudson (he gets to go back home and be the 3rd pg off the bench like here)

Memphis trades = Marcus Williams (we get a legit experienced back-up that can shoot and run the offense)

It's a bad sign when a player's career high for minutes per game is his rookie year.

Remember the whining when DA took Rondo over Williams?
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

I would rather just see Hudson play. From what we've seen of Lester, he can shoot the 3 AND dribble AND pass. Doc just needs to play him. If we make a trade, it's gotta be bigger than just a 3rd string bench player swap. We need a real 6th man, besides just Sheed.

Also, I like Marcus, but he hasn't lived up to the expectations. He had Jason Kidd working with him, and the torch was to be passed down to MW, but he couldn't handle it. (Devin Harris steps in)
Can't stop, Rondo!

I remember someone starting a thread that picking Rondo over Williams was the biggest mistake in the history of the franchise. Seriously.

A third stringer for Memphis isn't good enough for Celtics.

I am against picking up the third string Memphis PG that wasn't good enough for GS and NJ.

I agree on Hudson...the thing he needs to do now is learn to play within himself and not try to do too much, and that will come with playing time, I think.

Agreed.  Even though Hudson has a lot to learn, I am not sure Williams is any better than him, but he does have a lot more issues, and does not know the system.

If this team does make a move, it needs to be more than just shifting the deck chairs.
