What if they show up big tomorrow? Since Lester is natural scorer, maybe he can go off. I wonder how much leeway Doc gives them.

Yeah I don't think Doc's "leeway" is gonna be what determines if Lester "goes off" or not. I think its gonna be his not being a superstar that keeps him from "going off".
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I guess JR showed something that Walker and Hudson haven't.

I'm Happy for J.R. Giddens. We need to rest Rondo regardless. Here comes the Youth Movement some have been asking about.

J.R. will do fine. And we'll have The Captain back.

No we won't.

Good Point...I just heard the news. Well it will be interesting to say the least.

At least we'll have Sheed, Perk and Ray Ray. And TA has been steady as of late.

Celtics are still a tough out.

A tough out? Have you watched the last three games?

Yes I have watched the last three games - a Tough Out. Clips game went down to the wire - without P2. If we had played better as a team we would have won.

GSW game  - another one without P2. Again went down to the wire. Turnovers killed us.

The Phoenix Suns get no respect from me. IMO, they Should have blown us out by 40, but yet Stoudemire gets himself in foul trouble early..who in the world got him three fouls so early? The game was in striking distance until late in the third quarter. They were fully healthy and we weren't.

IF the Suns make the playoffs, they'll be the 7th or 8th seed, barely. Spurs are on a run, OKC is even playing well, Denver, Dallas, Portland, Utah, Memphis...all better than PHX.

Heck, I'll even give the Clips more props than PHX..especially once they get Blake Griffin back in a few weeks.

Makes sense. I was wondering when Doc would pull out the all 6-4 to 6-6 lineup. Of course would only really work with Paul or Daniels; but would love to see

TA
RA
JRG
BW
Sheed

IMO, Giddens has showed he possesses a couple of NBA level talents, namely in terms of defence and rebounding. He isn't a center, so defense and rebounding alone aren't enough to earn him a spot in the league, but it's still more than what Walker and Hudson have showed.

I wouldn't necessarily count this out so quickly.  Giddens was essentially the point at New Mexico.  Doc may have decided that he was the best option at this point - I don't think it's a stretch to say that, at this point in their careers, Ray and TA are both better off the ball.

I really hope this kid plays his butt off tomorrow, because this could be his only shot.  He'll likely get a chance to play defense against 1's, and defenders at three positions with any offensive game at all have a place in this league.  I don't really think he'll be good enough in the short term to help us out, but I think he could very well turn out to be good enough to be useful to somebody else.

Pretty sure the Allen brothers will be platooning PG duties.

Giddens must be really impressing in practices.

Whatever Glenn says (or Perk leaks), he usually does the complete opposite (i.e. limiting the older guys' minutes). So I won't hold my breath.

Scal and Ray will play 48 minutes for all we know.

Note Perkins said it would be JR starting not Doc.  I doubt JR will start but if he does Tony &/or Ray will play PG --JR will be the 3-my prediction is that Lester starts @ point.

Of all the players on the Celtics I think he has the least NBA ability. He is out of control because he plays faster than he should. That ought to be a great thing for a PG… I see a quick benching on its way.
