I have no problem with resting Rondo for a game or two. However, I do have a problem that in order to rest Rondo, the Celtics have to put a team on the court that does not have a ball handler. I continue to be amazed by the fact that there really is no one else on this team, even Marquis Daniels, who can truly handle and distribute the ball other than Rajon Rondo.

I think there are entire teams without really good distributors.

This is interestingly bizarre. Giddens was the last person I'd think of to replace Rajon. Good for him. At the very least he can be a beast on the boards. Hope he does a decent job.

JR has been a good soldier for a while. This is his time to shine. Like you said, he'll be a beast on the boards (maybe 15Rebounds)

You must be delusional. Giddens getting 15 rebounds tomorrow.  :o ::) :o

How? If one Celtic could do it, Its JR.

Right. Giddens has proven that he is a 15-rebound a game kind of guy.  ::)

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Welp, this is Giddens' chance to prove he can contribute.

I'd start Hudson too. But I'm surprised that Doc doesn't have Scals starting at pg.

I'm Happy for J.R. Giddens. We need to rest Rondo regardless. Here comes the Youth Movement some have been asking about.

J.R. will do fine. And we'll have The Captain back.

Well, at least it'll be interesting to see these youngsters in real game situations rather than the normal garbage time they're limited to seeing.

  • Rondo = Good
Really?  Giddens over Walker?  This is going to be PAINFUL.

This team went from mostly healthy and deep to paper thin in the span of a couple weeks.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Good Point...I just heard the news. Well it will be interesting to say the least.

At least we'll have Sheed, Perk and Ray Ray. And TA has been steady as of late.

Celtics are still a tough out.

Hudson should start over Giddens.....all Giddens does is run around the court doing nothing....at least Hudson hit that 3 pointer over LeBron.

man, weren't we just 3 games up on Cleveland in the loss column?

A tough out? Have you watched the last three games?
