Sorry if there's already a "happy new year" thread (I figured this was different from the 'new year's resolutions' thread and I searched and didn't find an official 'Happy New Year' thread already.)  So I just want to say it here.

Happy New Year to you all.  It's always a pleasure to share points of view about the celtics and general life topics with you all.  I feel especially fortunate this year, even if the last week has brought some hard times for the C's.  Before that I witnessed about 17 straight games of some of the most beautiful basketball I've ever seen.  The team had come from behind wins, blow outs, games that came down to the last few seconds, great defensive performances, some great individual performances, and more than anything some amazing team ball.  Guys covering for each other, playing selflessly and sharing the ball with the extra pass.  All to the tune of a 15-2 record.  It's been a thing of beauty that reminded me of the best of times we've shared with this particular core the last few years.  I felt complete joy every time the Celtics were on TV.

So here's to a new year, 2010, but also a celebration of this year past which brought all of us some great fortune from watching am excellent team play excellent ball.  And I wish happiness to you all on the precipice of this new year.

Oh, and I'm saying it here and now...A healthy Celtics roll into the playoffs and win it all in 2010.  It's gonna happen.

Happy New Year and Go C's!

Just got back from a little bit of First Night in Chatham. went to a traveling circus show.  Lots of fun.

I'm not sure I'm gonna make it to midnight though. West coast trip exhausted me!

Happy Healthy New Year all.

Definitely Happy New Year to everyone.  Hope things work out for everyone in 2010.

Gonna be weird celebrating in Chicago with friends and family back in Mass. an hour ahead of me.  First time celebrating in central time zone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

God Bless You all and Happy New Year!!

Be safe people - just in the Hampton Roads area alone, traffic fatalities have increased up by 40% :o over the holidays.

Want to see you all logged in after the new year - in one piece.
