why do i think we have seen the last of KG for a long long time?
Maybe, and this is just a guess, but maybe, it's just your usual optimistic nature coming to the forefront again.
 ;) :D ;D

sorry but Chris' post about danny not thinking it is the thigh and is the knee is a little scary

Sorry dude. I retract the joke.

I just read up on the situation and you are probably right. I think we may see KG down for a couple weeks.

TP2U for the heads up. I missed Chris' post.

I didn't mean that Danny doesn't THINK it is the knee, I was talking about his interviews last week (particularly on WEEI), where he implied that the thigh thing was just an excuse, but they were really giving him rest because his knee was bothering him.

all good....hearld said he got kicked in the leg vs GS and it doesnt have anything to do with the knee...maybe doc just wants to rest him..i dont know...but i honestly am flat out discouraged with so many key guys hurt. we really need them (PP, Rondo> KG and Baby) for the january run...i just dont like multiple game losing streaks and tonight looks like 3 straight

Garnett was accidentally kicked in the knee -- the same one that was surgically repaired in the offseason -- in Monday's loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Sounds too convenient to me.  While I am sure KG did get kicked in the leg, I don't think this is something completely new.

Also, judging by Doc's comments today (unfortunately, my computer is not letting me cut and paste for some reason, but check out CSNNE's blog), about sitting KG for several games, if he sits him at all, this does not sound like just some new bump or bruise, but something that has been a problem that needs to be fixed.

No but it could have hastened the schedule for a rest for KG's knee. Maybe they were trying to get him to tough it out until after Pierce came back and when he got hit on the knee, that just sealed the deal that getting him to wait for the sake of a better chance at some wins, just wasn't worth it.

seems we are back to the same situation last year...is it hurt? is it that bad? i think the tell tell sign will be after he gets these next few games off...if he comes back...cool...if he doesn't....more to it.....until then we are the portland red claws..i think it is all about that knee and the fact they need to throttle back....just my opinion

so far Rondo is gametime decision,KG(slight hyperextension)before the Orlando game but continued to play, just being cautious.BBD is out for at least a week.

Paul was a fluke infection.

KG hyper-extended or sprained his knee during Memphis. Took a game off. Played well to okay after but still wasn't 100%. He got it whacked in the GSW game and now it's just them being careful.

Rondo is going to play tonight, he thinks. He looked good in shoot arounds, so he's going to play. He thinks.
