The other thing that really bothers me about these two losses is that these two what should be "gimme games", would have given us a one game lead over the lakers and three game leads over the Cavs and Orlando in the overall standings.

I don't understand how that fact is lost when you enter these what should be  "gimme games" and then you can't respond with the proper sense of urgency to accomplish beating the Clippers, after being up 10, and the warriors, after being up 18!

You think Kobe maybe understood the urgency of winning lst night against Golden State by dropping 44 on them so the Lakers would maintain their one game overall lead on us?

I'm not saying we can erase the Lakers one game lead or again stretch ourselves to 3-4 games over the Cavs and Magic...

But we should win these "gimme games" beacuse their will be plenty of other games ( like against the Lakers ( twice ), the Cavs, orlando, at Atlanta, tonight ), etc, that will be much harder games to win.

And I shure wouldn't mind having a 3-4 game lead over the Cavs or Magic or Lakers when we go up against them...

These are games you shouldn't be losing, especially with leads like we've had.

It's completely mental, and it's weak.

Perhaps they don't want home court advantage?  It certainly hasn't seemed like an advantage so far this season.

My sentiments exactly. What good is home court advantage when the team is playing better on the road than at home this season?
