Would you consider trading Eddie somewhere out West for some money or something? I really think at this point Nate can bring much more to the table to the Boston Celtics. Eddie is having trouble finding his shot and once he does i will love him again, but i think we need someone who can bring the ball up and help Rondo out a little bit. Someone who can create off the dribble knock down jump shots off the dribble something Eddie cant do, Tony cant do, Daniels cant do it either. So I think we should do something along those lines we really do need a PG that can either A. Create for himself or B. For Eddie. Someone like Antonio Daniels would work because he could guard a two guard. So I really think the Celts need to get Nate if he becomes available. KG would love him and Boston fans would quickly enjoy him. So what do you think.

I really don't want Nate Robinson on this team.

Eddie's a fine role player who knows his place on this team.  I don't think Nate can come in mid-season and mesh well at all.  I think Marquis and Tony can do enough to create their own shot that we can remain standing pat.  Knocking down jump shots off the dribble is only one facet of the game.  I have no problem with guys like Tony and Marquis attacking the rim.  I actually prefer it.

i trust danny completely to make the right call on this one. if he's a punk and can't be controlled then danny probably knows it already and will pass. i'm against trading eddie. him just sitting out there is frightening for the opposition. it really doesnt matter too much about his bad handle. if pierce is in he can handle it. i think eddie works great with pierce too.

No Nate.

A shoot first small PG that has only showed to play for his own shot isn't what this team needs.

Let some other team pick him up and see if that makes a useful bench player shake out for the Celtics.

Celtics need talent that fits (even if it might be less talented) then just overall talent that doesn't fit.

I think Eddie would still have a role on the team if Nate were brought on board.  It would just be a smaller role: at the end of quarters and as a 2 when we go small.  Sort of like Scal's role when Baby's healthy.  Remember his role after we acquired Cassell.

So no, I wouldn't want to trade him.  Giddens, Walker or Hudson would be much better trade/cut targets if we wanted to free up a spot for Nate.

TP.

I forgot who said, but it was someone in the forums:
Nate is a more exciting player than Eddie, but less efficient.

He's an all flash guy who has a questionable attitude; he can't even crack the rotation for the Knick... THE KNICKS. Idk when the Celtics became a dumping ground for disgruntled Knicks guards, but I'm over taking gambles on players. If we're gonna make ANY moves before the deadline, I'd much rather it be for a proven player that would fit into our locker room. No media circus players, just a guy that can put us over the top without out all the excess drama.
