The play that lost this game?  The foul on Rajon at the end of the first quarter giving the Warriors 3 foul shots.

I knew that at the time it was going to come back to haunt them.  Totally makes Ray's trip to the line different at the end.

Geesh, some of you guys, I won't name names, are just a bundle of fun to watch games with. ::) ::)

You know what? I hate unwarranted positivity.

All the negativity wouldn´t be so excessive if some people could simply acknowledge when the team stinks.

I mean, if the C´s would lead by 15, you wouldn´t have to read so much negativity.

Some of these comments would have you think this is a 6-23 teams. I mean, come on.

You guys are all right. We should all be happy about back-to-back losses to bad teams. What am I thinking?

Nah, vinnie, I know what you mean, but I can also understand where they´re coming from. Not to single you out, but maybe it´s really smarter to wait until after the game with the criticism. I mean, the game thread is one of the worst places if you expect a fair debate (as it should be). In the game threads, people come together to cheer, not to vent.

Maybe you are right, but other than the first quarter, this team STUNK tonight. Absolutelly stunk.

I am telling you Eddie is hurting this team a lot right now with his one dimensional game the more i watch him the more i am getting sick of him. Get NATE THE GREAT!

Don't get Nate, but Eddie is a total negative on the floor he's doing nothing for us he'll hit a RARE three (this season) but then that slight boost for us is completely taken away by his inability to play any point at all or stop anyone on defense (lately, before he's been a GOOD defender).  >:(
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I really didn't like the idea of missing that 2nd free throw with Ray on the line at least we go and foul then get a desperation shot off rather then them going up four.. Really didn't like that call

We didn't have more time-outs. We'd need to rebound the free-throw or inbound the ball and then make a shot in 2 seconds or so - well, pretty much what ended up happening...
Yes missing the ft was the right call. Indeed, it was the only call. I just can't believe Ray went out like a chump with his attempt.

The Celts were beyond gassed, especially TA and KG. Ray also had nothing in the 2nd half, BBD was bad, House was awful, Sheed was awful, Perk did some good things but let his emotions get the best of him. Ray playing the whole 2nd half kinda annoyed me, this game wasnt THAT important.

Oh well, just come out fresh Wed. against a tough team. The loss sucks, but its nothing to panic about.

I guess this game is a perfect example of why no team is capable of winning 75 games in the regular season. Golden State has our number here. I bet that they haven't played since December 23.

I feel there is no better place to vent about Scals than in here. ;D

We did beat CLE and ORL on their home courts. We won without P2 against ORL.

We are more likely to face either of those two in playoffs than GSW or the Clips.

Another bad loss to another bad team, but no negativity. Great effort by the Celtics. They are going to score 99 points against the worst defensive team in the NBA.

I have NBA League Pass out West here and have watched at least 20 Warrior games but thanks for asking.  The Warriors are a below average team and have been since their run with Ellis/Jackson/Davis.  They are horrid on defense and coached by Don Nelson who most of the players HATE playing for.  30 games into the season is a pretty good barometer to judge a team.  The Warriors are 9-21 so it's obvious they are a below average team at best.  Not sure what the stats from losses have to do with this team.  None of the losses were on back to back nights so there is no correlation.  So at least have facts that actually mean something next time.

But I will post a similar stat --- C's lost to the Clippers and Warriors on the road last year and didn't make the NBA finals.  Since they did the same this year I guess that spells doom!

As I said, Max and Grande are ripping the crap out of the Celtics right now. Should they both be fired from their jobs?

I love max.

But how can you love Max? He even ripped Rondo noting that while Rajon scored 30, his man scored 35.

I'd rip Rondo too. Yeah, he had those points, but he had 6 TO's. I'd rip the whole team. A loss is a loss and it's the Celtic's fault, not the refs, not Doc or one individual player, but everybody had something you could critique. Rondo played a hell of a game, but it wasn't good enough.

I would much rather throw up a desperate three rather then go out and just lose and have no chance with their whole team being good at free throws. You have more of a chance to win with making that free throw i swear.

Ray Allen played 44 minutes off a back to back, Doc shouldn't be doing this if he wants a fresh team for the playoffs.

some real issues need to be addressed now or this is going to end poorly in phoenix. 2 nights in a row losing to bad teams and playing zero defense.

I wanna clap in the faces of these guys and scream at them to pick it the [expletive] up every time we play one of these crappy teams.

But we also lost to the Magic at home. We have to play like we did on Christmas, just a little better offense. We play like that every game and that's more-than-great.
