Not gonna blame the loss on the refs , but when Rondo was fouled on the last C's possession there was clearly about 1.2 or 1.3 left on the clock. They gave the Clippers those extra . 3 seconds setting the clock at 1.5 and Baron Davis got rid of the ball with .1 left . The game should have gone to overtime if the clock situation was correct.

I thought it was 1.3 or 1.4 max, no way it was 1.5...did not realize it was the 0.1 differential would be so costly as it clearly left Davis's hand with 0.1 left.. >:(

yeah, it was bull****, but its not like that was the main thing to cause the loss. Rondo choked. He makes his FTs, Clips take it from the baseline, no way.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The time is nothing but a footnote.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

So what? They still should have won this game ... poor defense down the stretch and lack of intensity ... this one's on the team.

Refs are human. It shouldn't come down to extra .3   We gave the game away in the first 3quarter. When you have a team down, you stomp on their heads and finish the job.

Another loss after having a double-digit lead against w less-than-mediocre team. They gotta stop this crap.

Agree.

Refs did not cost us this game.

leaving rasual butler ( ihave to laugh) open for a 3....cost us the game.....letting kaman run free to the hoop cost us the game...playing flat....settling for way too many jumpers...blowing a 3rd quarter lead.....a late ray allen turnover....sitting rondo too long....eddie house tech.....cost us the game

You don't lose a game by 0.1, 0.2 or 5.0.

I was at the game, and haven't seen any replays yet.  But, there is no way in hell that the following can happen in 1.5 seconds (much less the 1.3 that you guys say is accurate).

- Guy rebounds a missed ft
- Guy calls for TO
- Ref grants TO
- inbounds pass
- Baron turns, hesitates
- and shoots

And, I don't buy the "ref can't cost the game argument."  Ya, they played horribly and it shouldn't have come to that.  But, it did.  And, I'm not blaming the refs, but rather the clock operator.  It's funny, they go to the replay to see if the shot got off in time, in excruciating detail, but they never look to see if the clock STARTED ON TIME.

I remember that Derek Fisher shot several years back to beat the Spurs in the playoffs.  I have TIVO, so went frame by frame.  Fisher got the shot off with 0.1 to go, but the clock started 0.4 seconds late.  I bet tonight was the same.

I'm only frustrated because the C's lost last year vs. the Clips too.  And, if you guys had to walk out of staples center with a bunch of low-lifes mocking the C's, you'd be p---ed too.

I think I'd say "25-6", smile and ask "how about you guys?"
