Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

t3h reffz t00k him out of gaem!!!!!  ///

Seriously, he just had an off night, like the rest of the team did.  After being on fire on both sides for most of the year, he's entitled to a few bad nights.  just not when it counts.

You're right actually... they are not an elite team... so average. The Laker are a little bit more of a threat but we are like... so easily the best team in this league. We just need to play like it! *COUGH* CLIPPERS *COUGH*

Yeh, but I only just noticed this. I think he found his match in Kaman too.

Just saw the game and... wow. When Baron got the last possession I thought "we're screwed, he will do it again" and he did. Too bad Rondo missed free throws but I feel like this will be a good learning experience for him.

It sucks to lose against the Clippers after winning in Orlando but it happens. Frustrating to lose after extending our lead to +11 at a time though. Sheed was great in the first half but absolutely putrid in the second. KG didn't attack the hoop at all and it hurt us in my opinion (although he hit jumpers pretty well).

Finally, I think Doc should have fouled the Clippers when we were up 3 instead of letting them shoot a 3. You have Ray Allen and Eddie House on your team, use them to shoot clutch freebies!

Hopefully we can rebound tonight but this loss sure is frustrating. "Deja vu" all over.

I think if Doc had personally fouled someone, it would've been a flagrant, at the very least :P

Yeh, chalk him up on the board, he belongs on the list.

And yeh, I got your point ;) but [dang], I'd have payed to see Doc foul someone there :D That'd be hilarious. Even if it was just a good old-fashioned hand-check.

True that the scene of Doc fouling players would be hilarious. ;D

Also, I forgot to mention that TA had a great game, especially defensively. He got two huge steals at the end, too bad we didn't win.

Hey guys, Clipper fan here...

Today was kinda a gut wrencher for me, cause my girlfriend is a huge Celtics fan but I'm a huge Clipper fan lol.

Anyways I was reading up on your forums and to be honest, you guys have a good atmosphere here even if you lose. Some fans treat it like the end of the world COUGHLAKERS/CAVSCOUGH .. but you guys have some smart fans.

Anyhow. Good game today. Don't be fooled- Clippers aren't a bad team, when matched up against an elite. The problem with the Clippers isn't their talent, it's their work ethic, hustle, and heart. Believe me I've watched every single minute of every game, and Clippers play down to bad opponents. Even the wins we've had against subpar teams have been ugly.

Clippers always play up to the good opponents, and actually look like a legitimate team when playing the likes of the Celtics, the Nuggets, the Cavs, the Magic.. etc.

About the clock having 1.5 seconds? It's cool, that's when the contact happened so that's why they decided to put 1.5 seconds. Either way, we can't know for sure what would have happened if they HAD put 0.9. Maybe Baron would have leaned into Rondo, got fouled, and made free throws to win instead. We'll never know.

But don't worry, there were some iffy calls for you guys too. Like that Gordon travel- he took 2 HUGE (and I mean HUGE) steps, and they called a travel for some reason. He actually ended up getting fouled after the "travel", so that call saved you guys 2 points from the free throw line, and an extra foul on KG. There was that very late force-out call they gave Kendrick Perkins, where he fell out of bounds (although I do agree that Kaman bumped him, I think the ref should have called that faster instead of just guessing 5 seconds later).

But yeah. All in all, you guys and the Lakers are the 2 favorites for the finals and championship. Right now it's a toss up, pretty much whoever can stay healthy will win. But when someone asked me before the season who the best team will be this year, I said Celtics because I think everyone's forgotten how good you guys were before you had the injuries (last year). Even with those injuries last year, you took the conference champs to 7 games.
