He apparently might be back tomorrow.  Could be a shot in the arm.  While I'm not the biggest fan of Baby at the 3 (or Garnett at the 3 with Baby at the 4), it might not be a terrible lineup to go with for 10-15 minutes given the alternatives.

Also says KG should play and Pierce may be back even sooner than 2 weeks.

Good news.

I'd rather have him defending Rashard / Anderson than Scal, and at least he's not a liability on offense.

Yeah, it isn't the best idea to play somebody who hasn't played in 2 months in the most important game so far.

Not exactly a promising quote from Doc about BBD.

Quote
Davis, who was injured in a fight with a friend on even of the season-opener, "went through whole practice, he sucked but he didn't injure himself, so that's good," Rivers said.

i think he could help defensively in small spurts until he gets his legs...offense would take time

I think I read where Doc intentionally states a player will be back for a certain game and they normally come back the game before.  He mentioned something about the press not being aware of it so the player won't get hounded about his first game back.

I would love for BBD to show up tomorrow.  Just the energy we need.

I have to agree.

Still, if BBD's really healthy then I suppose the sooner the better. He hit a buzzer beater against these guys, so I doubt he'd be sat simply because of nerves. But, he'll probably be cold as the Northeastern weather around this time!

Yeah, I don't see why anyone would think he would be back tomorrow.  His first practice in two months was today, and they have been targeting January for a little while now.  I think it is possible that he could dress if there is an open spot, but he likely won't be playing until he gets more practice in.

Lets hope. If Baby doesn't play we'll be seeing a lot of Scal, and Scal has turned into a liability. He used to be a C out on the court - he'd barely contribute but the guy he was guarding would also barely contribute. Now he's playing like an F, producing nothing and getting crapped on by Troy Murphy and co.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I think he will make at least a brief appearance in a game on this west coast trip.

Tomorrow, it would just be nice to see him shove that fat guy's kid again.   ;)

It's the passing up of open shots that bothers me the most.  And the fans with their constant sarcastic cheers are getting old.  In fact it was old the first time it happened.  Are these people too dumb to understand that they are hurting the team?
