The Pacers are always a surprisingly tough match-up.
Aggressive. Physical. Tough if they can hit the long ball, as the did in the 1st. Obie-ball.

I often question whether it is fine that the team sort of dogs it for halves of games and entire games...I think we will be fine with it if legs are fresh in May/June. Long season.

Motto of the season:

Stay thirsty, my friends.

lol
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is a Celtics win over Orlando on December 25th.

It's hard to explain this 1st half vs. this 2nd half.  I'm just shaking my head right now and happy to survive this.

Like everyone else here, I'm sitting there tonight just wondering throughout the 4th quarter why we didn't play this type of defense throughout the game.  The refs were letting them play and normally that is way to our advantage.  It's like it took up 2 1/2 quarters to realize it.

Well we certainly came out flat in this one.  It was pretty pathetic, especially against a team that was on the second night of a back to back.

I'm glad they figured it out in the second half.  If you told me we weren't gonna have KG, Paul was gonna go  4 for 15 on the night, Ray was gonna go 2 for 8 on threes, Perk would have 5 turn overs, and our bench would only total 16 points (all of which were in the first half I believe,) I wouldn't have expected us to win this game.

But we did.  Go celtics.

At the very least, they shouldn't start the game like this against the Magic on Christmas, otherwise, they'd be digging a hole too deep to recover from.

That's an understatement.

Right. I'm in bed right now, but the thought just struck me ...

Tonight, we won because we got great basketball players. Not because we got a great team.

That's what it feels like anyway ;)

nite all!

A little Led Zep to start the game ... sweet!(Got to meet Jimmy Page once ... one of my life's special moments, though I couldn't understand half of what he was saying).

Questionable call ... inauspicious start for the C's ... no fluidity on offense.
