Maybe Ray should be given the ball in clutch situations?  And he actually boxed out and grabbed a crucial rebound.
Ray is called on to finish frequently in the clutch. But Doc likes PP/Rondo/KG to have it late to start a play.

Usually Pierce, or sometimes KG in the high post.

Victory cigars out, gentlemen! They really knuckled down the 2nd half. Or as Sheeds would say, knuckled up.

Well C's are going to pull this one out.  Nice second half effort but the big issues still exist -

This team has to figure out how to start home games against poor teams better.   They need to show some energy instead of waiting until the second half.

And someone needs to ask Doc what his thinking is with Scal.  What is he seeing that no one else does when a player can't shoot, can't rebound and can't defense yet still gets huge minutes.  Shelden at least rebounds and plays defense he should at least get a CHANCE to play.  Thankfully when Big Baby comes back it will be less of an issue.

Motto of the season:

Stay thirsty, my friends.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Ray and Paul Pierce are clutch as usual. Nice to see Paul coming to life in the 4th and to close the game after struggling all night long.

Definitely not the game I expected, we're far from a blowout and the starters played a lot of minutes. I hope Rasheed's shoulder is OK but maybe this is the game we needed to get it going at home. Yeah, I know we will be on the road beginning Friday but maybe a gutsy comeback win at home without KG and against a crappy team was what we needed. We'll see.

Rondo, your work ethic astounds me. Results are in, even before the deadline. Everyone was saying May, but we can already tell Rondo's gone forward.

A lot.

Shameful job by these refs.

They ought to ship this game tape to David Stern... and force him to watch it for the rest of his natural life.

Although he might enjoy the way they jobbed us.

OK folks, Merry Christmas, let's hope we don't get screwed over on Friday,

Onto Orlando --- then on the road for the holiday west coast trip.  I am sure we all remember last years sojourn out west.  That is when the season began to unravel a bit losing to the Warriors and Clippers on back to back nights not to mention losing KG.  Hopefully this year's trip out west will be different...
