Chico Esquelo {Baseball been berry berry good to me). Point-counterpoint (Jane, you ignorant ****!). That overweight family (maybe the Widettes?). The sleazy airport lounge singer (Akroid, I believe).

And were any of the Martin Short characters on there? Is that who Stuart Smally is?

I know it's not a recurring sketch but Tim Meadows as OJ Simpson and all of those sketches they used him in before the trial, during the trial, and after the trial.

Also, how about Stewart Smalley, im good enough, smart enough and gosh darn it people like me!  I always think of the one with Michael Jordan when I think of these sketches.

Also, dont forget Will Ferrell as Harry Carrey and his show about Space, or whatever it was about.

I got 3 favorites:

Mango by Chris Kattan, Sean Connery(forgot who played him) playing Jeopardy with Will Ferrell as Alex Trebek and LandShark...an old classic from the 80's.

Kind of a shame. I actually don't really watch the show anymore. Just don't find it as funny now.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

I liked the greek restraunt sketch, but canteen boy is probably the funniest for my money.

Canteen boy is classic.  Also, it may not be a recurring sketch, but the Schwetty Balls sketch was one of my favorites.  Its kind of funny that before 30 Rock, most of Alec Baldwin's best work was as an SNL host.

Too many good ones.  Samurai__________ with Belushi was another beauty.

I went with Jeopardy.  The Sean Connery stuff is priceless.
Yup

I went with Wild and Crazy Guys.  Steve Martin at his comic best.  I also enjoyed Bill Murray's lounge singer act -- I don't think that was in the options.  Also - not sure who they were (think one was Victoria Jackson), but they did an act with sisters singing medley's -- very well done.

Chevy Chase doing Weekend Update, and garrett morris's signing parody bit. Both hilarious.

I remember one I almost forgot with Alec Baldwin ... he was a guest, (named Pete Schweddy), on this radio show hosted by these two ladies, and they were talking about his new product that was (I believe) some kind of cheese balls ... they kept using lines/puns talking about the cheese balls, except without the "cheese" word, and they were named after him, "Schweddy Balls" ... it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Here's the link, I couldn't embed from Hulu, sorry ... unless someone can tell me how. I can do so from YouTube but, but YouTube only has third-party recordings of SNL, and it's poor quality. The skit starts out slow, but just give it a minute ... it's hilarious. How they all kept straight faces through this is beyond me:

Land Shark, Adam Sandler singing Chanukah, The Joe Pesci show when one of the cast members as Pesci interviews another cast member playing DeNiro, and the real Pesci and DeNiro come in and all hell breaks loose.........

But the best has to be one of the Killer Bees skits when I think Belushi berates one of the other bees played by Reggie Jackson for "loving himself" too much and proving it by accusing Jackson of "buzzing off" all night in the bunk above him as evidenced by "the honey left all over his sheets"....
