Doin' OK ... I'm a bit discouraged that we keep giving these games away, games that we are clearly in control of for at least three quarters, but I'm also optimistic that we'll have things straightened out soon, and that we'll be rollin' come playoff time. ('Quis is back soon, right?) I'm emotionally exhausted from the last couple of weeks, so I've been taking extra time for peace-of-mind ...

... just sitting with my axe (guitar), working on a new song idea or two, treating myself to a good movie, taking walks at the ocean, having the fam over so I can cook for them, (they're my guinea pigs for new recipes), spending quiet time with my Rose ... just appreciating the basics in life ... all a part of the healing process for my soul. Still having nightmares, to the point of being afraid to go to sleep, but I've been there before, too, and it's just a passing of time thing.

Nice to be getting back to the Celts and the blog, too ... but that's stating the obvious. I am a truly thankful man ... God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve, and while I don't understand His propitiation for me, I am nonetheless extremely thankful. Hope all is well with everyone here ... missed you guys (and gals).

Hmmm... nightmares...

Generally, I love them. I love waking up with fear gripping my heart, sweating and having a chill run down my spine at once. The worse, the better. I love waking up and feeling feelings I have yet to face in real life.

I see dreams as an experience you couldn't otherwise have experienced yet. It is almost as though it prepares you for something, gives you a chance to learn how to cope with certain issues before they arrive.

Dreams. I love them.

Not saying you should too, ofc. And I don't know what sort of dreams you're having, and I'm definitely not trying to tell you what to feel. But I guess you know those things

Hurt.

Had cramps in my big toe. Hurt like hell, but I was in the middle of a fast-paced basketball game so I ran on. Not something you wanna do.

This morning when I woke up I found that my big toe was gone, replaced by a huge purple one.

Ugh :] Typical. It'd better be gone by tomorrow because I got practice again, and Friday I got a game with our first squad and on Saturday with our second squad >_<

This is gonna hurt lol

Sorry to hear that, K ... hope you're doing better soon. I get cramps in the arch of my foot from playing hoops ... and sometimes wake up with them in my calves ... not a lot of fun.

Ohhhh....hurts just thinking about it.  Are your sneakers the right size?  I have been told they should be a size larger than your regular shoes, at least...You don't want to end up with Turf Toe, for sure!  And they say NOT to wear cotton socks (I always thought you should), but to wear sock with wicking power.

Good luck on your next session, but don't push it....

Finally finished tearing up carpet and getting rid of furniture in a condo we bought.  Called for a "mold check" before we paint and put in new kitchen and bathrooms.  Just when I was enjoying retirement, another unpaid job! (All I really want is to be pampered... ha ha ha).

Doing good. Skyped with my girl a while, which was good. Miss her. Soon I'll be over there though, which is more than good :] Can't wait!

Slightly nervous too, moving to another continent isn't small. Especially when it's Australia while you live in Holland.
