Okay, based on his solid game last night for the Bucks I've found the player we need.....Roko Ukic.

A pure PG who is 6'5".  Can play next to Eddie and help keep Ray's minutes down...

Okay guys if you agree then please put together some reasonable, doable, balanced trade ideas!

(I haven't had anything work in the trade checker for ages)...

I wouldn't make a trade based on one game, but I really like this guy.  I wanted Ainge to draft him a few years ago when many of the mock drafts had him coming to the C's.

Good defender + very good penetrator (mainly off pick and rolls where he uses his size very well) ... poor-to-very poor at everything else.

Lack of scoring ability -- no perimeter shot, no midrange shot, poor finisher in the paint, doesn't draw fouls -- a weak scorer in every sense.

Lack of point guard skills -- very poor passer relative to his position, only useful passes are on the drive and kick and even then those passes are weak, so-so handle, poor decision making, can't run an offense -- overall a horribly inefficient offensive player. Only effective when he has the ball in his hands and allowed to dominate the ball and ostracize his teammates. Also, a below par rebounder despite his impressive size/athleticism.

Roko Ukic is 26 years old at the end of this season and has reportedly shown little improvement over the last few years. Considering his age + lack of improvement + clear need for improvement ... it doesn't look like Roko will ever become good enough to be a rotation worthy player in the NBA.

I don't Ukic is currently good enough to be in the NBA. He's a very poor third string point guard. Capable of a great game here and there but a dozen bad games usually follow. He does a lot of harm to his own team due to his offensive limitations.

--------------------------------------------------------

In terms of trades, I think a team could probably pick up Ukic for a second round pick.

I think Lestor Hudson is a better prospect though. I'd rather keep Hudson than make a move for Ukic.

Come on... that great game he had was against the Raptors. I could have a great game against the Raptors.

Ukic was a great prospect like 6 years ago and that's his entire career in a nutshell. He's still the same player - an extremely ball-dominant shooting-guard who can't shoot the ball or create for others. Very good penetrating into the lane though. And he once had a great game versus the Celtics, btw.

Ukic had great potential when Tau signed him, then he had great potential when they quickly moved him for Barça the following season, then he had great potential when Barcelona dumped him into Rome as soon as they could, then he had great potential when Colangelo in one of his bizarre decisions offered him a 3 year NBA contract and now Bucks fans are probably lavishing about his great potential (while Hammond is trying to find a way of getting rid of him ASAP).

I live in Toronto, watched him all last season, he's TERRIBLE. He played one good game against his old team, which is also terrible. Not being rude, he's simply...terrible. Lol.

The last Croatian player remaining in the NBA is going back to Europe. Roko-Leni Ukić is about to move from the Milwaukee Bucks to Turkey and sign for powerhouse Fenerbahçe. The team's coach Bogdan Tanjević himself confirmed the transfer, which was stimulated by the guard's little playing time under coach Scott Skiles. Spanish side Baskonia, for which Ukić played when moving outside his native Croatia, was also in the run to sign him.
The 25-year-old Croatia national team player could make his debut in the Euroleague in round 10, when Fenerbahçe faces Žalgiris.
Last season marked his arrival in the NBA with the jersey of the Toronto Raptors, which ended up trading him to the Bucks. In two seasons he averaged 4.0 points and 1.9 assists per game.
Fenerbahçe has currently a record of five losses and three wins in the Euroleague this season and is second in the Turkish league with two losses.

Good job by John Hammond.
