To MR. Nick Whatever! I simply have my point of view to make statements I feel like I need to point out. There was no need for the paragraphs of statements from you like if we were speaking 1 on 1. I was clearly stating that all you fair weather fans who only cheer for a player when he is still waering our uniforms is not out of good taste. I will stick to my statements that Gerald Green has done more for the Boston Celtics than Bill Walker & JR Giddens have combined! Yet nobody is saying how much of bums those 2 guys are. They still have roster spots that some person more worthy to help us should have. But we just continue to pick on Gerald Green when he is irrelevant to us. Lets talk about something of substance, which are the 2 projects we have. With one of those projects happening to be older than Gerald is now. And he hasnt & isnt going to show us anything worth what we spent on him before he is gone & out the league himself. Lets talk about are scrubs & not people on the streets! And if I wanted to debate with you 1 on 1, I would let you know. But I was raised that if you have nothing nice to say, dont say it! Im not here to argue with individuals who claim to be talent evaluating specialist. And if 6'8 people did grow on trees I would be taller than 6'4 & maybe just maybe I would have at least one person of that height in my immediate family. But I dont being it is not so common!
So if someone says something negative about Gerald Green, you have the right to say something in Gerald Green's defense, but other do not have the right to counter the statements you made because you weren't speaking one on one with them? Kind of hypocritical there isn't it. You have the right to do something but if I do it and it doesn't agree with what you have to say, I'm a fair weather fan?
That seems fair, huh?
And sorry, but I cheer for the laundry not the man. I cheer Celtics. If I like them, I will think fondly of them after. If I didn't like them, I won't think fondly of them after. I don't stay a fan of a player after he leaves the Celtics. I stay a fan of the Celtics.
As for your growing on trees comment. I never said there were so many they grew on trees. But 6'8" is a 96th percentile person meaning that 4% of the people worldwide are 6'8". So out of 2 billion fully grown men, that's 80 million men who are 6'8" in this world. That's a lot of 6'8" guys. There might not be any in your family but I personally know 3 people who are that tall or taller.
