Your favorite mixed drink

I'm really into beer and wine, so I don't drink a lot of mixed drinks.  When I do, I probably go to gin and tonic the most, I'm usually not into super sweet fruity things.  On a very nice day outside in the summer (or on vacation at some Caribbean location), I'll occassionally go for a margarita or mojito.

Beer is definitely my number 1, but if I'm drinking hard stuff at the bar it's going to be rum and coke or bourbon and coke.  On occasion I'll have a long island but that's only if I'm looking to get really drunk.

Back in the day, for me it was Jack Daniels and Coke. Thank God those days are long gone. If it wasn't for my shipmates, I would not have made it back to my barracks alive.

I pour a beer into a glass. Then I pour in more beer. Then a little more. Then a little more. Then I drink it and it all mixes in my tummy.....and THAT...is my favorite mixed drink.

It's hard to pick just one.  I'm a big fan of Long Islands, as well.  I like Manhattans, as well, and am partial to bourbon and cola.  I like margaritas quite a bit, too.  I'll drink just about anything, though. 

My old man once told me that there were two kinds of gin drinkers..the ones that were self destructive and the ones that tear down everyone else.

Something about that stuck with me. He told me that when I was like 12, so years later when I started discovering alcohol on my own, I resolved never to have a "go to" drink.

Weird but I really thought about it...I like lots of drinks but a favorite? I always start out a night with the boys with 2 shots of bottom row (it HAS to be bottom row) tequila. I like that because it's a tradition. Besides that I've tried just about everything under the sun. I don't like martini's. THat's it

It's not a mixed drink but to me there's nothing quite like a great cognac.

I keep a really, really good brand in the house for that every once in a while but if I'm out, after a great dinner at a good restaurant, I'll have Hennessy or a Martel but my real preference is a Remy Martin XO

You know ...I ve been trying to drink that kahlua bottle and irish cream too from my bar rack, mainly beacause I am trying to end the liquor in my bar -------during a looong period of time (dont think wrong)------ and the coffe and creams drinks are the ones that I cant find the way to drink them. I want to change as in remodel  my house bar area and it goes through not having my drink rack anymore...u know i am becoming a more family man ....
I still cant like them. I dont know why because i drink almost everything over  the face on the earth.
