I'm not saying I'd necessarily want Sheed in right now instead of SHeldon but wasn't Sheed brought in to back up KG for the most part? It seems like he is primarily backing up Perk taking away Perk's minutes when in a lot of cases we should be resting KG more. Also doesn't the Sheed-Perk combo make more sense than the Sheed-KG one? You know, as far as inside out game?
I think KG has to get his consistent 30-31 MPG to use to get his knee back into the best shape it can be. If structurally everything is sound, then it's just a matter of constant, consistent repetition to get everything in shape.

Yeah I agree completely. But that's still 17 18 min where someone is in the game instead of him. I just thought that when we brought in Sheed at least I thought he and KG's game was somewhat similar and that we wouldn't miss a beat when KG would get subbed out. It might be that I don't like the Sheed-KG combo because they are mostly outside shooters and the Perk-Sheldon combo who are mostly inside players. Obviously Doc could have anything in mind here and could be trying out different things and also this game probably isn't the best to judge in general. I guess it is just a combination of me not liking Perk get less minutes, and our center shooting 3's with no one under the basket.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Rondo is shooting with confidence! ... or maybe this is because we hold a 22 point lead.
Whatever it takes!
Maybe Rondo should play through the 4th quarter with the sole purpose of practicing his jump shot in a game situation.

Not a bad idea.

Not a bad idea at all.
Somebody get Doc on the phone...

I think that the matchups would generally dictate who gets PT.

Yeah that's true. Obviously against Shaq and Howard or anytime Perk gets into foul trouble. I just had noticed that he seems to always be taking out Perk. Still early and I'm not a coach by any means just an observation

Er why?

One game does not erase his awful shooting slump from game 6 or so and onward. Hopefully both he and Ray will stay hot for the entire road trip though.
