This is one of the things that makes Danny an excellent owner ...
Danny bought the Celtics from Wyc and company?! :)

For Better or Worse, KG is the emotional leader of the team. I think he has been more subdued than usual until the last couple games. Not coincidentally we have player better as he's been pumped up for the last couple as the game has wore on.

It's a delicate balance. You definately need to pace the season with the mileage on these players but we still want the the No. 1 seed. I am like anyone, I want to see the C's coming out breathing fire for 82 games but I'm not sure that it is realistically sustainable over the amount of games these guys have played over the last few years. They did that last year and feel apart as the season wore on. They do need better energy and I think we're starting to see it more recently..

I actually agree quite a bit with Danny.  I don't see this team being anything like the 86 team.  Pierce is 32, Allen is 34, and KG is 33.  In 86, Bird was 29, McHale was 28 and Parish was 32.  Bird and McHale were in their primes in 86, while Pierce and Allen are a little after their prime right now.  This team needs Rondo, Perk, Daniels to start stepping up their game to an even higher level if the C's intend on winning it all.
do it

Wow, I had no idea Bird and McHale were that young in 86.  TP.
