I completely agree with Nick and I'm not Tiger fan or ever even watched or played golf.  Tiger is no different from 40% of the people around us.  It changes nothing about him unless you are planning on getting into a relationship with him.

i'm not saying i think tiger's a bad guy. i couldn't care less about what kind of person he is. my point is he stands more to lose than just about anyone for this type of behavior.

so my point is: he's a moron. who is going to argue with that?

To be honest, I could care less about this.  This is a private matter for Tiger and his wife to deal with.  If we were going to crucify every public figure who cheats on his wife/her husband, there really wouldn't be many left.  I really see no need to judge him on this.

I agree it is a private matter...that being said, for some reason I find it very disheartening.  This is a guy that appeared to have everything.  A gorgeous wife, young children, an earning power unmatched by any other athlete in the world, dominance at his job/sport.  So why screw around with some trashy looking girls?  It HAS changed my view of him, a view that was carefully crafted by Tiger and his people.

I suppose I just always figured he did this stuff.  He never came across to me as really that clean cut.  He always came across as the nerdy kid growing up, who turned into a fratboy in college, who could put on a great facade, but really had little control when out of the public eye.

Well, if he has a favorable pre-nup, he might be a lot less of a moron than you are making him out to be.

yea, I guess I thought that the guy who litterally had everyhting wouldnt need to seek comfort in the arms of apparently many women.

I realize many athletes do this, I just didnt expect it from Tiger.  Just like I wouldnt expect it from a guy like Tom Brady...but I guess you just never know.

The thing is, sometimes when you have "everything", I think it drives people to do stupid things even more than those who need to work hard to just get by.

I wouldn't say he's a moron.  Married guys can be tempted by other women.  Some control it, some don't.  Because he has more to lose doesn't make him more of a moron.  Thats like saying Vin Baker is more of a moron than a regular alcoholic.

i'm not talking about cheating on his wife. i'm talking about sending hundreds of dirty messages to party girls. tiger has a whole team of people who provide him image management on an ongoing basis, and he never thought about this?

sorry, i don't see what vin baker's drinking problem has to do with the most famous athlete in the world childishly putting his dirty thoughts into writing.

That's a true statement, and although Tiger has more to lose, he also has more temptation than us.  I think a regular married man doesn't need to worry about women flocking all over his wings all the time.  One really has to be placed in that kind of situation, but with Tiger, I am pretty sure wherever he goes there are women trying to get a piece of him.  The temptation must be a lot higher for him, although he must also realize is that temptation is brought upon exactly what makes him a tabloid magnet, his status.

This month GolfDigest cover is just hilarious considering all the revelations we learned about Tiger these past few weeks. Talk about an embarrassing coincidence!

It sure will be interesting to see where his career goes from here.  Especially if the HGH sparks catch flame.

It seems that Tiger is a man who doesn't hold true to his actions so it wouldn't surprise me if he was on a enhancer.

In the sense that he was outstanding since he was a child. Golf is a game of intellect and guts and nerves and body control and will power and concentration and not strength and speed. Tiger doesn't need PEDs to dominate because it's never been his physical prowess that made him the best player ever.

The doctor went to Tiger's house and performed and FDA approved therapy that he is the best in the world at giving because he INVENTED the therapy. Why wouldn't Tiger hire the doctor to perform a therapy that he invented and why wouldn't he fly him into his home to do the therapy. He's Tiger Woods, a billionaire.

I agree that the whole thing is too speculative, but if the situation in baseball taught us anything, it's that it doesn't matter how talented a guy is in determining whether he took PEDs.  I mean, Arod was taking them in the prime of his career, and I'm sure a lot of other young, elite baseball players were, too.
