  • Let's Go Celtics!
Does anyone else think KG should sit out for a few games?

I know he is a warrior and is trying hard but it's obvious he just doesn't have it.  The lucky flip shot that was disallowed notwithstanding, KG just isn't contributing much on offense other than being a passer.

On defense he is too slow to guard most forwards and rarely grabs rebounds anymore.  Watch him going up for rebounds like on that last trip. He now tries to tip the ball to himself or a teammate instead of grabbing it.  He just doesn't have the lift or quickness to go out and get the ball now...

I definitely think he should've been benched down the stretch against the Knicks.

But to sit him a few games would be counterproductive - we're trying to get him into a flow. You don't get into a flow on the bench.

Indeed Mike Gorman, this looks like the defense from two years ago. Keep it up!

Ok let's close out this quarter strong in the last 5 minutes and get a nice lead.  Toronto hasn't scored in 6 minutes this is the chance to break out.

Keep up the defense!

Let's see if the D sticks without KG. The only good shot the Raptors have had is on a turnover fastbreak.

Well, the O seems to be sticking. RONDO!

Rondo with a great rebound then terrible decision.  The play is to take the ball out and reset the offense.

The C's have to build up a double digit lead to close out this quarter or else the Raptors will make a run and get right back in the game.

Let's go defense!!!

Well, at least Wallace is coming out of his slump..good game from him so far.

The Raptors can score 150 points tonight for all I care..as long as the Celtics score 151 ;).

I would rather see the C's play good defense and lose than play horrible defense and win.

Oh c'mon now you don't really mean that, MattG12. So this means you were happy when the Celtics lost to ORL?

Actually I didn't watch the Orlando game... so I have no idea. I do know I would rather see them lose 79-76 showing great defensive effort than see them win 120-118 with bad defense. This team is going to get wins, and they'll easily get into the playoffs. The defense needs to start gelling because it has looked horrible lately and that worries me a little bit.

Yeah I definitely agree with you there. So far this season, they have played lock-down D in stretches...but in 2007-2008 the stretches were a lot longer than this year.

They'll get better. Just have to work out the kinks. It's sounding old, I know, but they'll figure this out soon.

Cleveland closing in fast on Charlotte. That 15 point lead was 23 earlier. Now it's 10.

Tell me if you've heard this one before?

Washington leads Miami by double digits in the 4th. Philly is close to Atlanta in the 3rd.
