[dang].....AI has always been one of my favorite players. i use one of his quotes on my myspace page....."One million people love me, ten million people hate me" if this is indeed the end, i wish he had won a 'chip.

he just released a statement.

said that he is retiring, but still loves the game and feels that he can play.

sucks, i really enjoyed watching him play, even though it didn't translate into team success.
i just love watching little guys play well in the league.

Yeah he is just retired for now. He'll be on a team by the end of the year. If not this year than probably next year.

Dickerson was just on Comcast Sports Tonight and said , AI is retired until someone calls and said everyone around the C's believes that too. He is just trying to make noise til someone need his services. I tend to agree with him...

I agree with this. Talk about an ungraceful fall from favor.

VERY unlikely this is the last we'll see of Iverson. And I hope he does come back and have a fantastic season.
