is more threads about how...

1. Ray Allen is doing a fantastic season.

He is playing fantastic basketball so far. His physical shape for a guy who is already 34 is simply outstanding. He deserves and extension and is playing at an All Star level again.

2. Rajon Rondo will get more confident and grow during the season.

Weeks ago everybody was asking for an extension. He has had his ups and downs but he is a freaking monster out there. People forget that he can get a triple double but also that he is playing with other stars and that he is not playing for his numbers. He is the future of the franchise but he is also very young and will continue to grow. He comes early to the matches (unlike last season) and he will manage a way to improve his FT's.

3. Paul Pierce is the leader of this team.

People tend to forget that Paul is making a lot of sacrifices in the offense and helping a lot in the defensive side. He could still score +30 any day but he is simply sharing the ball and responsibilities. When the moment arrives he will take the ball and win the game by himself. We don't need to find any leader, we already have him

4. Kevin Garnett is healthy.

He is getting back. His brain asks him to give 100% but his body is not going at the same speed. No worries here, he will get there where his desire and his physical abilities will match. Wait some months, wait til Spring. After all, are we playing for the best record before Christmas or for the big prize in June? KG is playing solid and giving it all. Soon he will be the beast we all know he is.

5. Perkins is slowly developing into one of the most classic and regular centers in the league.

He has improved his offensive skill set, commits less fouls and plays cleverer. Plus, he has an awesome contract for a man of his characteristics. I am sure DA is also thinking about his extension

6. Rasheed Wallace has adjusted to the 6th man role and is doing a fantastic job.

If you forget the current slump in his 3pt %, the guy is simply doing and admirable job. He plays tough, rebounds and contributes in all areas of the game. He is the piece we missed off the bench last year. He is very intelligent and a proud Celtic. As for KG, wait til Spring to see the true Sheed

7. Marquis Daniels is awesome.

He is probably what we expected from Tony Allen before his knee injury plus a way higher IQ. A pleasure to watch Daniels in green. Hopefully we will be able to extend him. As with Sheed, he has adjusted to his limited role perfectly.

8. Shelden Williams has impressed. He is a solid rotation guy.

Few people expected anything from him. I doubt all of those doubters would admit it. He is solid, hard worker and clever out there. He is knowing his limitations and like Perk he is just learning to play his role in the time in the best way possible. His rebounds and defense are above average. Great find by DA

9. Eddie House will be the deadly shooting machine he always has been...

...when it matters. Eddie has his slumps, but his shots will enter come April. Remember that game vs the Magic in the playoffs?

10. Glen Davis hasn't still played.

The team will be even better when he comes back.

Glen is talented. He will give as a boost.

11. Lester Hudson can play.

He may not be ready to play big minutes, but we don't need him to either. He is confident and has a great work ethic. Another great find by Danny

12. The team has showed some flaws but they can all be fixed...

...with some time and more chemistry. It's November!! We'll be fine. I like this team and I like our chances for the NBA ring in June

You made a lot of very valid points here and it is good to see some positive expressions for a change. I think the biggest thing is for KG to get back to normal. He is really the backbone of this squad. Everyone has a role but his is really the one that makes us so hard to beat due to his defensive presence. I think most of werent even sure if KG would be healthy enough to play any the first 10 or 15 games so from that perspective he is way ahead of schedule. Sure, it would be great to see him like he was 2 years ago, right now, but it will come.

If all of those were true, then you could also start a thread with the title "Boston leads the standings at 12-1; playing great basketball". Unfortunately they're 5th in the EC (fell behind the Bucks) and are not playing well.
