You can't really compare Rondo to AI... Rondo has a ring...
I am certainly going to stop comparing him to Allen Iverson... when he stops playing like Allen Iverson redux!

our defense was OK
The Knicks are shooting 47% from the floor. This is not ok by any standards.

Well, maybe it is by our new standards where holding a team under .500 shooting looks like some sort of an achievement.

OK for our new standards, maybe, but almost all the Knicks shots were contested.

Take out the 11 points offerered by Rondo to Robinson and our real defense would have kept them at 41 points. The collective defense was OK, but they got a lot of their points thanks to Rajon "I won't play defense" Rondo.

That's amazing. However, you can't really take away parts of a team to make a point. Any team is as strong as their weakest link.

Is rondo really doing that bad on defense? I have nto been watching the game on tv, but this seems a little surprising.

I like how they're playing now!  Pushing the ball, attacking the rim and grabbing the rebounds.

If you've watched any number of our last 7-8 games you shouldn't be surprised. Rondo plays no man-to-man defense of significance, and is also prone to allowing backdoor cuts and easy offensive rebounds to his man because he refuses to stay away from the ball.

This is how you make a run! Pierce is unstoppable from three!

Rondo needs to keep pushing the ball and everything will flow with it. Sometimes he's shooting to shoot, he needs to shoot to score.

his defense could definitely be better - he and House took turns guarding Nate Robinson, and Nate hit some shots. But since Rondo's the villian these days, his defense is single-handedly keeping the Knicks in the game.

I see all the comments about poor play.  Anything going right?  Anyone playing well?

Garnett without his athleticism might as well be Baby. I think Glen is going to be huge when he makes his comeback.

Awesome. The C's played hard for 4 minutes, but now it's time ot let the pitiful Knicks back into the game. Come on Celtics, this is getting ridiculous.
