Just wondered what you guys thought about this. They did have a good team back in the day and I was wondering you're thoughts on whether or not a team might try and relocate there due to the economy. They have a great sports market, especially with Dayton being so close.

I personally would love a team to come back to Cincinnati that I could root for. When I was a little guy my grandparents would baby sit me. My grandpa was a die hard Cincinnati Royals fan and my Grandma was the same way for the Celtics. Obviously I ended up picking up the green gene since the Royals are now defunct (kinda, Sac Kings woo who cares?)

So yeah, thoughts on the NBA in Cincinnati?

I think Seattle is probably next in line. I hope so anyways.

In a perfect world, Cincinnati would lose all of their pro-sports teams.

If anything I think they should contract some teams, not expand.

That's the most stupid comment I've ever seen. Thanks for nothing.

I was just kidding.

Honestly, I've never given much thought to Cinci reacquiring a team and I doubt anyone else here has. However, like IP said, Seattle should be first in line.

I think Kansas City will be first in line, they have a brand new up to date arena.  They also have had a team there before as well.  I think Vegas would be second for relocation.

I completely agree with Seattle getting a team back, but I completely disagree with Kansas City, I could see Vegas.

Why do you disagree with Kansas City?  Just because you don't like it there.  You can't just pick a city to get a team.  Seattle still has an outdated Arena, I don't know Cincinnati's situation but I doubt it's better than Kansas City's with the new Sprint Center built 2 years ago.

Kansas City has a slightly larger TV market than Cincy too.

Simply based on how RIDICULOUSLY DEVOTED the city is to the Steelers, I would think Pittsburgh,pa should be considered. I've never seen such die hard fans, from young to extremely old. it's as if they issue steeler jerseys once you move there.lol I think that would be one of those surprise markets much like OKC. I don't think anyone would've thought OKC was a suitable location for a NBA team until tested after hurricane Katrina. Of course I would think Seattle would be next in line though

I think it depends on the team relocating.

If it is Memphis or Charlotte, I could see KC or Cincy being the location. If Sacramento has to relocate, I think it will be Seattle or Las Vegas being the new city.

I like Cincy.  Nice sports town.  I was there back in '06 for Patriots/Bengals.  Love how the baseball stadium and the Jungle are right next to each other on the river.

Given their history with basketball, I'd have no problem seeing it return.

Also, love O'Malleys in the Alley.

Well we can take care of everything then it sounds like.

Cincinnati gets Memphis, Kansas City gets Charlotte and Seattle gets Sacramento.

Problem solved :)

Why does Ohio need two teams? I'd rather see a team in Kansas or something, isn't basketball (at least college) huge over there?

Seattle is a good city with a lot of history, i agree that they deserve a team as well.
