I'm a Trekkie ... I love Star Trek: The Original Series, and I know all the episodes inside-and-out, back-and-forth, and front-to-back, along with all the Star Trek movies, Star Wars movies and Games, Lord of the Rings movies, Matrix movies, Aleins movies, and just about every other Sci-Fi movie or series that's ever been created.

VERY cool :)  (except for the star trek part of course  :P )

Yeah, I know you're anti-Trek, Bud ... that just gives away my age-group, unfortunately. For me Trek started everything ... there was technology in the original series that was not developed until many years later, and most other sci-fi owes it's roots to Trek. Even Spielberg and Lucas grew up with it and owe their careers to it, (in their own words). While it seems so completely outdated today and even silly, it was a ground-breaking television series that took on issues and ideas that no one else had come close to touching on. I saw a Lucas interview once where he said that without the Star Trek series there would never have been a Star Wars or Aliens or E.T., and that he owed his success to Roddenberry and Star Trek. For us growing up then, there was nothing else like it ... nothing else that came close, and it was a wondrous thing with special effects that no one had ever seen before. Hey, we can't agree on everything, Buddy. ;)

Guilty there, too, Redz ... you should see the legal pads and mini legal pads that I keep around my house for keeping stats and lists and organizing everything ... computer, too. We won't get into how my OCD is affected by it ... or vise-versa. ;)

I'm not a trekkie, but I know who Geordi Laforge is, Seven of Nine, I know Jean Luc Picard was at some point assimilated, I can tell apart a Klingon bird of Prey and a Romulan warbird, (and I can tell apart the Borg ship types rofl) and I can sing along to "Star Trekkin'" by the Firm.

... but that's because I'm a sponge when it comes to useless "fan" facts from just about anywhere.

My head is full of completely and utterly useless information about comics, films and games... and it hasn't helped me in life one bit lol

Redz reminded me of this one

Making polls, rankings, and top ten lists of EVERYTHING

Seriously I got a "How important was Oprah" poll and "What was the best Disney animated film" poll in the works

The day I make a "What's the best underwear brand" poll cut me off

Statistics are so typically American. Not meant in an offensive way btw, but you guys are the biggest "statistic-Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.s" on the planet. I love it. I wish people in Holland would be as into statistics as you guys were. It makes the game of basketball a whole lot more interesting, I tell you!

Wait wait wait.  They don't do statistics in 100% of other countries?

Oh. That is sooooo 85% depressing.

Lady Gaga's music. I find her to be weirdo yet, her crappy music is like crack, you know you shouldn't, but you do.

Two nights ago Mrs. eja was watching Gagys interview with Babwa Wawa and I thought of this comment.

It occured to me....if the music is like crack doesn't that mean it's good? I mean isn't that what good music does? It stimulates the happy endorphin thingies and whatnot? I mean if it's a good as crack that's pretty good right?

I'll say Nirvana is like a good beer that relaxes you

Maybe Michael Jackson is coke

The Beatles are like the best sex you ever had.

Beethoven is like the awesomest meal you ever ate.

Eminem is like percocet

Smashing Pumpkins are ex

And Lady Gaga is crack.

I can't believe she has already made it into that pantheon

Wait a minute!  I just saw this.  I don't actually sell my meaningless stats, so that makes me more of a stat trollop, than a stat Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., right?  ;D
