Put my name down on the list of people that absolutely love what this guy brings to the table every single night.  He's getting so much better offensively, rebounding better, and his defense is rock solid.  Sign this guy up for the long term because he is going to be a great center in this league.

Smart player who always works hard. I like him a lot.

I have a question though.

Has anyone ever seen Perk flush an alley-oop? Or a rebound without coming down with it? Has anyone even seen him ever tip in a rebound?

I find it odd that I can remember him doing any of these things. Maybe my memory is at fault.

  • Rondo = Good
He's my favorite Celtic.  I hope he continues to get better and better.

I've seen him tip it in a lot, and he slams in a rebound every now and then.  Alley-oops just aren't a part of his game.  He's a big dude so it's hard for him to get a lot of lift, and he's only 6'10".
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Add me to the club! I wish he played more last night (and gets more minutes overall).

A true defensive center for us. Hard worker who is still young, with his prime days in front of him. He is getting better offensively, too.

Perk just puts his hard hat on and goes to work. Every day.

I am looking forward to him matching up with Dwight Howard on Friday.

Big man coach Clifford Ray deserves credit for his development, as well.

I'm in too. Though I like Rondo better, Perk is more solid, more consistent and generally "safer". I dig his mentality, his improvement and his D, like all of you.

I'm a fan.

count me in. i was (and still am somewhat) anti-sheed, and one of my concerns is that doc would play sheed over perk too many minutes. love perk!

Perkules has become one of my favorite C's.  He's just a work horse.

Count me in also. I love Perk.
The funny thing is that Perk might be the first in guy the Celtics have had that was a "project guy" when selected in the draft that has ever really panned out. The C's approch with bringing this guy along has been almost textbook. From a heavy heavyweight Doughball Kid to a Ripped Mountain of a Man. He skill set has improved each year. Much of the credit goes to Perk himself but some has to go to the true unsung hero of the C's coaching staff Clifford Ray. Not a better Center could the C's ask for in Perk. Now if only every draft pick could pan out to be the BEAST that Perk is now.

What did ESPN do or say?  I missed it.

Count me in too, and not just for his play.  I've started to notice recently that all of his quotes are good and very insightful.  I'm not sure if he is coaching material, but he seems to know his team very well.
