He's the craziest, funniest, speechless guy of the decade. I just can't stop laughing...

He coldly tossed Ariza's shoe into the stands... the guy he replaced at LA!!!

And Ariza's face... like, "This guy's hopeless"

Haha! What's even more funny is, that was the most effortless block I have ever seen! Ariza just stands there, Kobe goes around the defense like crazy to lay it in backwards, and Ariza just extends his arm in a timid fashion to block it! LOL! Kobe, you got OWNED!

i saw a bunch of people bickering about this on truehoop, I think.   This is the first time i've actually seen the clip. 

The Ron Artest supporters were saying he was just tossing the shoe off the court to prevent someone from tripping over it. 

From the way the Rockets fans were describing it... I thought Artest picked up the shoe and chucked it into the stands.

Yeah he totally cracks me up too.  I mean, he's a flat out funny guy, though I'm afraid I'd feel differently if he were on the C's.

Does anyone knows a good link for the famous Artest-S.Jackson brawl? There's only one video in the Tube that actually shows the brawl but it's awful.

I laugh at Ron Artest, but sometimes he just seems a sad, lonely person screaming for attention with those bizarre actions.

It's the old stereotype: some of this NBA stars had really tough childhoods and suddenly they're making millions and getting all the attention before they become men.

Artest was raised in the Queensbridge projects in NY and sometimes I wonder if, for instance, the Detroit brawl wasn't just a street fight in his mind.

Isn't there an NBA equivalent for "unsportmanlike conduct?"  Deliberately tossing a guy's shoe away like that ought to be a technical foul.  It's not even old-school, it's just classless, a joke.

Someone can get hurt with a shoe on the court. I have no problem with him clearing it out.

I suppose he could hold it up and ask, "excuse me, is anyone missing a shoe?"

How do high tops come off anyway? I've never had that happen in my life. If you chose to wear shoes loose or wear low tops, that is your problem. Rondo is it uber-tool when it comes to shoes falling off.

It didn't appear to me that he threw the shoe into the stands..the commentator was a little off. Looked to me like he just threw it near the basket.
