  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Good offensive game from Rondo but his defense was terrible. He is always sagging off his man and he never plays his man straight up always to the side.

Alright, well, barring divine (satanic?) intervention, the Cs are gonna win one they should win. Things to work on, but hopefully with this much more normal pace (not 6 games in 9 days or whatever ridiculous stuff it was to start, and fewer 3-day layoffs), we might find our rhythm.

(Scal!)

=( @ Tommy likening Scal to Gino.

All that needs to be said.

I think they're conserving their defense for Orlando.

Well a decent second half to win a home game against a terrible, undermanned and tired team.  Definitely nothing to get excited about.

The 3 day break didn't help the defense appreciably.  The team looked lethargic until Rondo took over the game in the 3rd quarter.  Not sure what the fix is because the team obviously isn't intending to play such poor defense.  They just don't appear quick enough to handle athletic, energetic teams anymore.  When a rested Celtic team can't stop quick guards driving to the basket or get out to open shooters on the wing then the signs of trouble are on the horizon.  It will be interesting to see if they make a trade of pick someone else up, it's too bad Raja Bell isn't wearing Celtic green that's for sure.

Onto Orlando which should be a good game since they play a slower, halfcourt style game as the C's do.

Good win. TP's for everyone and good night!

Far for the perfect game especially on D but I'm glad that we got back on track in the second half (and that Cleveland lost).

Orlando friday should be a good test.

PS : glad to see Mikki back anyway, loved the guy while he was here (hustle, nice... but without defensive skills).

Moments of playing well, but it almost seems worse that we made our run largely hitting 3s.  I want this team to see good results attacking the rim because that's what we'll need to sustain all year.

Still all's well that ends well...Orlando on Friday will be a big test.

Thanks for keeping the topic lively and sticking with what looked like an aberration, people.

It was good to be out here again with ya, I'm off to bed now.

TP's all around! ('cept for Matt, he is still on a freeze for getting 225 from me already lol)

Be seeing ya!

Part of that was scheme. They were trying to funnel Ellis to the help. But yes Rondo did let them get a few easy layups.

I'll forgive him that as he played pretty much all of the second half that mattered and energized the team.

Anyone catch any of the Knick's game. Apparently Eddie Curry is back and he went for 10 points, 4 rebounds in 12 minutes. :o :o

Well, they won.  They played decent ball for a few minutes in the 3rd and 4th quarters.  Plus they got just about every conceivable call from the Zebras.

Otherwise, their performance was entirely foregettable.

Go and be nice to the fellas over at Golden State; honor them for their rebounding in the first half or something, those guys need some support ;)

Plus it's a good bunch. They're quite kind and realistic in their view of their club.
