Our bigs have to double their defensive effort 'cause Rondo is not even trying to stay on his man.

We're shooting a solid 54.1%, they are turning it over enough (11 times to our 8) and we've got a huge advantage in free-throws taken (their 4 to our 18)...

We're up by a single bloody point.

*grinds his teeth some more*

Taking 18 free throw isn't that helpful if you only make just over half of them.
That's somewhat part of my point tbh. We're in a sad condition atm.

The C's got me in the mood to just post tons of sarcastic posts instead of delivering well-founded critique.

Apologies but I've been getting up for these games at night and this is rather disappointing. Especially considering I pay for this crap >_<

This is unreal.  Even the most optimistic fans see that this team has some MAJOR problems now.  They had 3 days off so they are totally rested.  They are playing a GS team with only 8 eligible players that also played a game last night.

The defense is just horrible.  How can a team built on defense and one of the best in NBA history suddenly just lose it?  GS is getting easy shots every time.  They are driving to the basket with no resistance or getting wide open jump shots on the pass outside.

What is wrong???

While the Cs are playing awful, keep in mind that the Cavaliers had a very close call against GSW last night.  Might GSW be better than we think?

The Cavs maintained a 10+ point lead majority of the time and survived a late rally by the Warriors last night. Not a very close call seems to be.
But they're without O'Neal in the lineup and seems improved. Not sure if it's related though.

They were also without verajao and this is back to back away game for GS. And they only have 7 guys playing and we are on like 3 or 4 days rest. Pretty much there is no excuse except maybe "rust" from having a few days off. But wait.....we were playing terrible before these days off too and are continuing that pattern. So basically nothing makes sense except that we are just playing terrible basketball with no real silver lining rihgt now.

On another note I can't find our defensive 3 point percentage, or an easy way to compare our FT percentage with other teams. If I am reading this right on 82games.com  our FT does look like we shoot a couple percentage points better than our opponents at 74% Vs. 72%. I could be misinterpreting something though and I'm not really familiar with this or other statistical websites.
