This team needs to Brawl...

This team was never built for speed and athleticism. Even with KG, Rasheed and Pierce and Ray actually, in their primes these guys never blazed up and down the court. They're great athletes, but they are more of physical, motion players that pick you apart, therefore:

1. This team, like in 2008, needs to brawl. Get down and dirty in the paint
2. Pierce and KG are bangers, as are Rasheed and Perkins
3. That's where we need to take the game
4. We're not going to beat anyone consistently with the fast break.
5. Our fast break will be selective..and effective.

6. We need to stop launching so many threes ( especially when they're not falling and especially when we're playing a team that gets out on the fast break when we're missing almost everyone of them).

7. We need to take it to the rim on offense every play in games like this, and the Phoenix one.
8. And we need to lay some major smack on bodies on the defesnive end on the boards.

Not complicated.

Theis tema was built to mix it up in the half court.

PS: Another big young physical player to mix it up with Atlanta's guys wouldn't have hurt either

See Big Baby..he would have helped a bit.

Not making an excuse, but his young legs and strength would've helped last night.

We miss the Baby, he doesn't get a lot of rebounds but his ability to move bodies makes it easier for the rest of our team to rebound.

This is actually my main argument when people rag on his low rebounding numbers.

It's kind of funny watching a game cause you always know when Baby is in there even if you didnt see him enter the game. The reason is, you see bodies go flying. Ha ha, but it's true. Yeah, Big Baby does a lot more then people realize. He's invaluable on this team because he does the things that other players on the squad cant. He'll be a nice addition. Still, no reason for getting outrebounded at home by such a margin. Rebounding is about heart, desire, and will and it was lacking last night.
