Didn't see any thread about it on CB so I thought I'd share the news, it could interest some people.

Ray has released a t-shirt for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The money will go to the association, and the t-shirt looks pretty good so if you're intested, see more details here : http://www.muzeclothing.com/blog/?p=3817

"WWJSD?" stands for "What Would Jesus Shuttlesworth Do?" (He Got Game reference)

The shirt :

The back of the shirt :

I have to check if it can be shipped in Europe and if it's not too costy but I'm interested. :)

dickerson showed it and talked about it the other night during a game.  definitely a worthy cause to buy the shirt.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It's pretty funny that he is still going with the Jesus Shuttleworth thing after all these years, but I think it's great. The only thing is, I really don't want people thinking I am actually wearing a 'wwjd' shirt. He should release one that actually says the words...all and all, it's for a great cause though and a good idea.

Dickerson said the design represented Ray's path from Uconn all the way through the C's.  So I was looking at it, and I can see the C's, Sonics, Bucks, and Uconn's colors.  There's one basketball that I can't figure out.  I'm pretty sure that he was drafted by the t-wolves, but I don't think that bball represents t-wolves colors.  It looks like a blue and red ball, so i'm not sure.  Am i missing something?  Anyone got any ideas?

Blue = Hillcrest HS (although the Muze site says Lincoln Ray told me on twitter that it is for Hillcrest)
Blue/Red = UConn
Green/Purple = Milwaukee
Green/Yellow = Seattle
Green = Boston

Worse yet, probably only $10 of that $40, if that, is going to the charity; the rest, of course, is getting stuffed into the pockets; moreover, the shirt only costs pennies to manufacture; it's just cotton.

how do u know that?  i think it is unfair to speculate.  someone like ray allen, who has always been very giving and involved with community relations and making contributions, would be pocketing money.  furthermore, the cause for the shirt is VERY personal, as his son suffers from diabetes.

I'm not suggesting that Ray is pocketing money. Ray is, in this case, more or less, just a spokesman, just a face to sell.

Have someone order if or you then ship it you.  You'd end up paying double shipping, but if you want it that bad, I'm sure we can find someone willing to help out.
