After seeing the Lakers dismantle Phoenix last night, without Gasol, and seeing the Celtics struggle at home again, against another aggressive, athletic team, I am somewhat concerned, although not overly worried yet.

Mike Breen: "They're consistent with allowing a lot of contact on both ends".

I can only assume he meant "allowing the Hawks to push and grab on both offense and defense".  ::)

just awful game. This is where Baby and Powe would grab all those boards. And Rondo needs to assert himself and attack.

We need:
1) To box out
2) Rondo to turn it on. Little blabla aint even trying.
3) House to stop hoisting threes off the dribble
4) Sheed to start posting up more often than once a game
5) TO BOX OUT!!

Seriously guys, this isn't a hard game. Or it shouldn't be. Abuse mismatches and do the above and it's a win!

Time for a 4th quarter comeback.

Go Celtics!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I'm concerned.  Rasheed looks like he's lost it and the absence of Leon/Baby is evident due to the lack of energy.

Hawks own boards 40-23.  Unacceptable.

Phoenix was on a 2 week, 25 city trip and LA on the last night. They had no chance. Shooting 50% in this one. Being down right now is 100% attributable to the 14 offensive rebounds for the Hawks.

Perkins/KG and Sheed are the reason the C's are down right now.

Celtics defensive rebounds: 19

Hawks offensive rebounds: 15

They're literally getting almost half the available boards on their offensive possessions.  That's disgusting.

The battering the Celtics are taking on the boards tonight is not at all encouraging. They really do look like an old team.
