Due to Atlanta, Boston, Toronto and Denver being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Atlanta, Boston, Toronto and Denver had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

yup... I am now fighting for playing time
assuming rashed dont retire. or assuming he actually does

Rondo / Hudson / Edgar Rodriguez Jr. or Ricky Rubio
Joe Johnson / House / Bellinelli
Melo  / Daniels/  Walker
Bosh / Sheed / BBD
Hortford / Perk / Shelden

i think this squad can dominate next ten years
adding a new FA at PF every year

I do like that frontcourt a lot.

My question is whether all these guys can co-exist with each other on offense.  There's only one ball.

I do this trade in a heartbeat. Although I start Perk over Horford.

I really don't think any part of this trade would happen.
we'd be scoring 140 a night if it did though.
we'd become the most fun team to watch, and we'd go 82-0.
It'd be the permanent all-star team. Maybe stern can pull some strings to boost ratings.

xD
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

Biggest commedies happened in this world already

I still think the Minny trade was a good one for them. AJ will improve at some point with his defense and he is already one of the best post big men in the game. They also got Gomes and 'potential' in Green. They were horrible with KG- now they are still horrible, but can always say they are looking towards the future.

The Gasol thing still makes me mad, but they were just trying to clear cap space. Atlanta has no reason to do that, as they are still 'up and coming'.

With all of that being said, it would be pretty sweet to load up like this...

Josh is not a kid anymore neither is Joe
Bibby have one or two years more tops in the tank and i think will be an expiring soon too.
theyre NOT going to win it all and can save TONS of money
Ray is an expiring.

Can we just rename the "Trade Ideas and Rumors" forum to the "Comedy" forum?

Let's trade our whole team for another whole team. Then, if we dont like that we can trade 1/2 of the new team for 1/2 of another team. Then, if that still doesnt work we can always trade back for our whole team. Enough with the trade ideas, this team is great just like it is!
