- If you don't feel like reading a lot of corny poo, you can skip this next bit, and just read the question
It's down below, in bold
-Unlike some of you might've come to believe, basketball isn't all green. Of course, the bigger half is, but there's more, and it's multicoloured. There are other teams out there that have their share of fans, and we have a lot more in common with them than you might think at first. Now I know you're not all as dense as I have been the past year, for I was 100% green and any/everything that was not green just fell off my radar.
That's why I've been wandering. Yes, I too have found the other basketball blogs out there. Most of them ran by fans and I've found there's no better way to prepare for a match than to visit the blog of that nights opponent. I read up what they expect, know what to look for in the game and know of any ins and outs on the opposing team. To me, this adds a lot to the game. It makes me want to win more, but it also makes me respect the other team a bit more.
Also, I've found it rather fun and rewarding to leave a comment or two, before and after the game. Before the game just to wish them luck, and maybe add some fitting comment on one or two of their players. Afterward either to congratulate them, or -most of the time (har har)- to talk a bit about how they did, how I think we played and other random things without trying to "rub it in". It's been great and the replies have been positive all around.
This is probably a bit of a longwinded story for such a short question, 'cuz my question to you is fairly simple:
- Have any of you been frequenting other blogs? And if so, had any good experiences?I'm kind of looking to broaden my horizon by partaking in other bball fan communities. Just want to know where the fun is
