Speaking of which, Utah has a lot of pieces but never seems to be able to put them together.  Puzzling why they aren't better.

Not sure if this was the best place to put this, but here it is.

The reason Orlando beat the Cavs in the ECF was the Cavs had no one who could effectively guard Rashard or Hedo.

Now Orlando was neither of those players, so you're surprised the Cavs are stomping them?

Actually yeah. I'd think any team with D Howard, Vince, and Jameer could play toe to toe with anyone and Cleveland wasn't exactly impressing me lately. I like the Magic bench too.

I think it has more to do with weak-minded players like Boozer and Kirilenko than it does with Sloan.

Jerry Sloan has been there much longer than Boozer and Kirilenko. The team has always performed the same way during Sloan's tenure. Perhaps the players are weak-minded because Sloan holds them back. Just a thought. I don't know much about the Jazz, they don't interest me very much at all. I could be very well be wrong.

I tend to agree with this - Sloan's a pretty good coach by any measure, but this team rolls over way too easily, and that didn't used to be true of Sloan's squads (other than Karl Malone in crunch time).  

Shame to hear about Harpring retiring, he was the last Sloan type of guy on the team.

Just checking in after being out at social engagements all night.  Nice to come home and see the Cs win in commanding fashion.  I love the Ws.  Keep them coming all the way through late June...

Missed the first half but witnessed the Rondo and ball movement show in the third quarter and garbage time in the fourth. Excellent inside-outside and sometimes back inside offense in that third quarter. That's the stuff we saw the first 5 games of the year.

Williams is quite the find for Danny and come the end of the year people are going to be wondering how Danny got so lucky to add a young, smart, hard working guy like that the same summer he added Sheed and Marquis.

Daniels was another that continues to amaze me as to how efficient, smooth and effortless his game appears. Just a pleasure to watch in the team scheme as he's always moving and always has his head up. He literally glides when he has the ball going to the hole. I've never seen a guy look more fluid and slow yet under control and quick in my life.

Rasheed has to take a few days off with that three point shot. He worked so well inside and was so successful. He could be a monster down low without ever having to go outside against just about every second string big in the league. But I guess he's going keep firing away and I'm just going to have to get used to it.
