Teah, I agree. I'm a little disappointed in the overly conservative offense the Pats went to here in the fourth. I hate the whole "we are up in the fourth so let's go conservative and try to run the clock out with 12 minutes still left in the game. Hate it. Hate it! HATE IT!!!!!

Yeah ... I do, too ... it drives me crazy, (along with missed tackles). They could have easily scored another TD or two, but went into a completely conservative stance in the fourth. Thank God the D came through, cuz the way Miami was playing, it looked like they would tie it up. I think we dodged a bullet.

Always thought that a team with a good running game could work in the option and be really successful in the NFL. Miami's few plays they used in the first half off the option style offense looked real good. I think it's going to lead to a bunch of teams starting to see if they can get a fast, running style college option QB on their team and have some wrinkles.

Ginn really is only good at kickoffs. Guy has crap hands as a receiver.

He was much the same at Ohio State. When he caught the ball he was extremely dangerous in college, but those hands are almost Shelden Williams like.

That roughing the passer call (nullifying a Pat's interception) is one of the reasons why the NFL is losing me.  That wasn't a head shot: he hit him in the chest and his helmet brushed against the quarterback's chin. Horrible call.

Why don't they just play touch?  Does the game really have to be ruined to protect the owners' investments in quarterbacks?  Do the officials really need that much power over the outcome of games?  That's what tempts guys like Donaghy to pollute the game.

Roughing the quarterback should only be called in cases of unnecessary roughness.  And pass interference ought to be cut way, way back.  What happened to allowing incidental contact?  And I was always taught that the defensive back has just as much of a right to the ball as the receiver.  If he makes contact with the receiver going for the ball, that should not be a foul.
