Fisher gets away with more fouls in last-possession situations than any player I've ever seen.  He pretty much dares them to blow the whistle, and they never have the guts.

Thats experience. Make the ref make that decision. 8/10 refs swallow the whistle on the last play.

Absolutely - it's a smart play for sure.  But I think wearing a Lakers jersey doesn't hurt; I remember one game a couple of years back when G St was inbounding down 1 with about 12 seconds left, and Fisher pulled Monta Ellis down on top of himself.  They blew the whistle then - on Monta, of course.

My stupid roommate is a Lakers fan and squeeked like a 5th grade school girl when they won. [dang], I HATE Faker fans.

How can you take yourself seriously after you squeak over a regular season game?

Do me a favor and ask him that while you punch him in the head repeatedly.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

He just has a massive hard on for the rapist. Seriously, if you polled Laker fans, I bet 60-70% would secretly like them only for that ball hog.

Anyone else out there watching the game replay for the first time? (I didn't get to see it at airtime ... and purposely didn't look for the score.)

I can see everyone else actually has a "life" and doesn't live at the mercy of a beeper and a short-staffed ER. Per chance to dream.

Checking in here late tonight.  Happy to see the Cs pull out the W in Minny.  A close W, but only Pierce broke 40 mins.
Celtics fan for life.

Why do we historically have bad games against this historically bad team?

  • There can only be one.

In their defense, '03-'04 T-Wolves weren't that bad. They were actually quite good. Had they beaten the Lakers in the WCF's, they would have had a good chance at that trophy.

They were good but we ninja'd their good and sent them our good. So they remained good. That's why they're good.

That good enough? ;)

Good!

This is the worst audience I've seen in a long time ... the largest public collection of corpses in 2009! (Are the "Guinness Book of World Records" people here?)

Love to see Ryan and Al playing well, though ... seriously, this team is one or two players away from being great. (Rondo is singlehandedly keeping us in this game).
