Change the title to "Rtpas11 wants Posey Back!!!". We've moved on. Time to move on Rtpas11. We don't want posey back.

I love what Posey did for us but he is playing awful so far this year.  If he eats into Daniels playing time then I wouldn't be for this.

Yea, i didn't think he was going to regress until the 3rd or 4th year of that deal, but it looks like it might've even happened last year.

I am loving Quis. No Posey for me.  I am even loving Quis with the ball in his hand -- he is just solid, surehanded and smart.  Someone said that he is what TA wishes he could be  and I think that was a great description (I'd TP that poster if I could find who said it).

When we win the championship this year there will be a thread called "RESIGN MARQUIS!" the only difference is that Marquis will be only 30, and we'll most likely keep him.

posey still has a contract that danny didnt want to give him....why would he do it now, especially since he has filled the bench in nicely with sheed, daniels, bbd, house, and williams (if he continues to play well).

We do??

That's a new one on me. I didn't have any idea that I wanted Posey back. Good thing you told me or would have never realized that.

I'm digging Marquis Daniels too. He doesn't do anything exceptionally well... yet he also doesnt do anything badly.

He's just a baller, just a solid NBA player, who gives you a little of everything. That is exactly what this teams needs on the bench.

Posey was awesome for our team 2 years ago. Now we've got Daniels.

Posey went for money, and got exactly what he wanted, and found(ing) out that money isn't everything, so I don't wan't him back and I don't fell sorry for him, and no one should.

I also am becoming a huge fan of daniels, he seems to be calm and may not be able to hit a 3 but he can get to the basket at will. He won me over when he stole the ball from lebron on opening night right before the half.
"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."

kinda a jump on your part to assume posey is unhappy isn't it?

And for a aging bench player, money is everything. I don't blame him one bit for maximizing his last few years in the league. Based on his deterioration this year he did us a favor.

Hornets front office is not going to enjoy the last two years of that contract, thats for sure.

Posey gives less than 100% effort when his team isn't in the running for a title.  Not good for the Hornets, as that makes him a waste of money.  He's like Sheed in that regard.

Forget Posey and that contract. I'll take Alston for Scal and Tony (with Scal bought out and resigning) though. A solid pure point backup would help come playoff time.
