I just noticed this kid is averaging 20 points, 6 assists, and 1.5 steals in his first couple of games. Unlike Ty Lawson, this kid definitely will get the minutes to challenge for ROY, and on a decent enough team that he won't be totally overshadowed by how bad the team is (e.g. Tyreke Evans and maybe Jonny Flynn).
The storyline for Jennings coming into the NBA was that he was an unfinished product, very raw, that he would take a while to grow into his potential. Well, if that's the case, there must be something to look forward to here, unless his first two games in the NBA are a major fluke.
Once again, Blake Griffin is of course the favorite for ROY, but with his injury keeping him out for a while, and the Clippers already looking kind of troubled, the door is certainly open for others.
