I love how Sheed uses his hips so effectively to just walk the defender off the block ... he's made an art out of doing that without getting whistled ... sweet!

I saw the game this morning. As expected, a blowout in the making!

Man, how great is it to have these 30+ points blowouts which allow the starters to sit the entire 4th quarter...? Ray just played 23 minutes and he had a terrific game (didn't seem to miss a shot). Pierce got on fire in the third, and all of that occurred thanks to Rondo. I have been in the "sign him next summer" bandwagon but now I want Danny to secure him long term before the deadline. Rond took only 2 shots and dished great passes after great passes. 16 assists! He used his speed at the best and destroyed the Bulls' defense.

Also, it's really fantastic to have a bench like this one. The Celtics struggled to make a run against the Bulls, then the bench comes in the 2nd quarter and suddenly, at halftime, we're up 15! And then the starters finished the slaughter in the third.

Seriously, this third quarter reminded me of the second half of Game 6 in the '08 Finals. Rondo dishing an assist by action, Ray lights out, Paul too, KG aggressive...

Great game and great start for the season. This team is definitely better than the '08 one, and barring injuries, the title will be ours. :)
