I don't think we are going to get anything near equal value for Baby at this point in the season...particularly given his injury.

If there are trades for him, he would likely be a sweetener (translation: what the other team will call the "key to the deal"...like Jiri Welsh, or Sebastian Telfair) in a deal where another team is dumping a good player with a long contract for some of our expiring contracts.  

For example, something along the lines of Tayshaun Prince for Davis, Allen, and Scal.  Really, it is just to open up a little cap room for next summer, but they will play it off as to bring in Davis, who they like, and to give Daye some more PT.

I've been willing to put Davis in a trade for a while now.  I'd much rather have another guy who can back up Pierce than another guy who can back up Perk.

Rasheed can handle enough minutes at PF and C to make the 4th big not really matter.  If we could turn any combination of TA, Scal, Baby, JR, and Walker into a guy who can play 10-15 SF minutes and maybe 10 PF minutes (Posey?) our bench would be pretty unstoppable.

Just so you guys know, Davis can't be traded until Dec. 15.

With Batum on the shelf they aren't going to trade Outlaw.

Oh, is Batum injured?  I saw he didn't play last night, but I figured he just lost the wing rotation drawing for the night.

That is about right actually.  Gives him time to get back on the court.  I thought of Portland for the trade becasue they actually could use another bench big.  If we could get Webster back, great, but I think we would need to set our sights a little lower.  Davis could still turn out to be a valuable trade chip.  He can be a legitimate rotation player for a lot of teams as opposed to guys like Tony Allen and Scal who are just expiring contracts (which is some value also).  I think there are teams that need another big that will be willing to give something of some value for Davis.

I just don't see Glen being happy in Boston ever again.  He is already a little down about his location on the depth chart and now with Wyc shooting off his mouth, I think things may have gone too far to repair (unfortunately).

Wow, it seems that everyone is overreacting.  Baby's friend admitted to hitting him first.  So, Baby's mistake is fighting back after a friend cold-cocks him inside an SUV.  I'm sure 90% of all NBA players would fight back in that situation.  I don't think this merits him being traded.  Just a mistake by a young kid.  He'll be fine.

You mean the other guy hit him first?  Then why is Wyc Grousbeck in the process of assembling a firing squad, ripping Davis' name from his locker, suspending him, fining him and looking to trade him or banish him to Siberia?
