So he made a club with an non-guaranteed contract!!

Congrats to him and to you for calling it a long time ago. I still don't think he's much of a player but when I am wrong I say I am wrong. He was good enough to make an NBA team and I was wrong.

Tps to KC and Wes.

Well my binkie is having a pretty good year this year too.

I wish Danny had listened to me three years ago and picked up Jose Juan Barea(Go Huskies) when Dallas didn't think that much of him. They could have gotten him for next to nothing in a trade the off season before the championship and I was begging for Danny to make the deal.

Loved watching him play in person at, get this KC, Matthews Arena when he played there. Son's graduating this year and he says Northeastern basketball just hasn't been the same for him since his freshman year watching Barea. He's a Huskie puck head now.

Not sure I ever officially binkified him but I have gone on and on about his skills and wanting him here and that he was a Huskie since I started posting here 3 or so years ago.

But yeah with one boy at Northeastern and the other at UMass, I'm officially binkifying any players from those schools. So when Gary Forbes finally gets some NBA love after putting up some more very impressive NBDL numbers, he will become my other binky.

Any love for my fellow Newton North Tiger Anthony Gurley?

He was my favorite player college player.

Gurley is a bit small but kid can defend like crazy. He should definitely be a factor this year starting full time and after landing Terrell Vinson and Sampson Carter, I'm really excited about the UMass program for the foreseeable future.

If you follow HS ball watch the local kid from Everett who is a sophomore Nerlins Noel. Kids 6'9" 190lbs and has an over 7 foot wingspan and is a defensive monster. He'll be a top 25 national prospect his senior year. Bank on it.

I was worried about Matthews after he had a difficult time shooting the ball in December but he's bounced back brilliantly since then. He's been very impressive.

Looks a legit rotation player in the NBA.
