Wally's father says his son will probably retire

This more or less means: "Wally will stop playing. He visited the doctor the other day and decided to have his left knee cleaned, but his morale tells him to stop playing"

So basically he still has problems with his knees and just like our old friend Raef LaFrentz they will both retire.

Wally had a very respectable career, same to Raef, congrads to both.

I am surprised he would have received a 1.4 million offer from Denver if his knee was in such horrible shape. Usually a physical is done before such offer is made no? Also, compared to Raef he has had a lot less injuries and rehab in his life.

Aside from an airball in the post season last year, the guy can still shoot. But if he's having knee surgery then he can't be off any use to us now. I'd STILL rather see him getting 5 mpg than Tony Allen or Giddens.
