Does that make the Kings more or less likely to deal Nocioni?
i'm of the mind that they would've jumped at the chance to dump noce before, and they would jump at the chance to trade him now. they'd trade him to the Cs for expiring contracts every day of the week and twice on sunday.
his contract is from a lost era of overpriced and far too long MLE deals that just doesn't exist anymore (or at least for the time being with the economy poor and the cap ****ed). the only reason they traded for him in the first place was out of short term desparation to dump salary -- brad miller's final year -- because the maloofs are losing money hand over fist.
money first, basketball second for the kings right now. they'll probably play evans at the 2 and martin at the 3 anyway.
for the record, i was in favor of it last year (jeff actually posted a trade idea of mine about him on the front page), but i'm against it now. he's just not worth his deal in $$ or years. let's see if marquis can hold down the fort at the 3 for now.
