Not too impressed with the new officials.  Too many whistles.

Hudson is looking pretty calm and composed for a rook.  Much more than Giddens who looks like he drank a few too many energy drinks before the game.

Rondo looks really good against Harris.  Aggressive slashing, great passing.  He always gets up for his peers.

It's amazing how overly intense and crazy all JR's moves are, he'd be a good player if he could just relax.

True Rondos gettin those assists in but i'd like to see him take it to the hoop and actually make a basket.

Its funny watching JR. I call him Mr. Happy Feet. On offense, the basketball looks foreign to him. Its like he doesn't know what to do with it. But a very very very solid defender.

Theres new players on the team, its way more important that he builds chemistry with them rather than risk his ankles in the preseason against the Nets.

So he has the opposite problem of Yi Jianlian?

Anyone else notice Big Baby trucking down the lane on a couple drives in the 2nd quarter?  Probably drove Doc crazy, but I like that we have so many ball-friendly guys on the 2nd unit now.

there is always a difference in a preseason game in what a player is trying to do/work on, etc. clearly the priority in this game has been seeing how some of these bench guys run with rondo and perk, getting them and new players to the system into the flow of the offense.

it is similar to a #1 or #2 starter giving up 5 runs in 3 innings in a spring training game. it may look bad but its because they were working on their curve and throwing it more often and in situations in which they would never do so in a regular season game.

But he has to hit some shots too. He missed few open looks so far.

Big three in street clothes.

Starters:
Rondo
Perk
Sheed
Quisy
House

JR, Baby, Hudson, Scal have seen a lot of the minutes in the first half with the starters getting the rest. JR and Hudson playing hard, not too many mistakes, shots not falling. Big baby shooting a lot, Sheed gunning from 3pt line, Eddie deadly, Rondo w/8 assists, Perk with a T. SHort Williams sighting.

Brilliant summary, thanks!  And thanks to you too Snively!

Perk seems to be even more decisive in his moves than last year -- it has really helped his game.  Makes him seem to move faster.
