Waived today by the Lakers.  I though he was a good prospect and he's still very young.  If I were Ainge, I'd see if I could get him in for a worekout.

I don't think we need one of LA's scraps, especially because we don't have any roster spots for him.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I would take him since we still are slim at the SF spot and Walker is hurt.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Doc is good coach, but a magician he is not. We have enough scrubs on this team.

I'm surprised that he didn't make the Lakers roster. Gelabale was a good defender and could have added something to LA as a 14th or 15th man. He was definitely better than Morrison last time I saw him play.

Didn't Gelabale have some injuries? Maybe he's not capable of being the player he was 2-3 years ago. I'd guess that's the case, and that's why LA waived him. Otherwise, I don't understand why they wouldn't keep him around for insurance.

Yes, I believe he had a torn ACL a few yearas ago, which set him back. He does not appear to have lost his athleticism, though, and he played well in the D-league last year.

I don't know if he is worth a roster spot.  But I believe he's worth an invitation for a workout.
