Wallace - He looked exactly like I thought he would.  I'm impressed that his defense is still relatively tight.  My only complaint is that he looked like he was only giving 95%.  It might just be the pre-season, but I wish he'd just look a little more alive.  And did he really need to pick up a tech in his first appearance?

Daniels - If Rasheed looked like he was giving 95%, then Marquis was giving about 85.  For awhile he just looked lazy.  But I have to say, I don't mind him at the point as much as I thought I would.  He did a decent job of trying to make plays.  And his defense looked pretty sharp.  His outside shot was pretty ridiculous though.  He needs to start knocking that down if he's gonna be in the game for 20+ minutes.  I hope he can stay consistent.

House - There's not much I can say about Eddie.  He looks about the same.  I think we need to give him the ball a little more.  There's no reason for Marquis to be taking the same amount of shots as him in less minutes.

Davis - I don't think he looks much different either.  He made a couple nice plays.  His post defense is still lacking.  He just isn't that inside presence that Powe was.  This really shouldn't be a problem in the regular season though, since he'll always be paired with either Perk, KG, or Rasheed.

My boy Scal - He played SF all night I believe, which didn't make me too happy.  But he looked good like always.  Sweet hook.

Hudson - I thought he looked like an NBA player.  He made some typical rookie mistakes, but I won't hold that against him.  As I have said before, I think most of his production is due to long minutes.  It just seems unlikely to me that he's gonna play the same kind of ball in the low minutes he would get if he ever breaks the rotation.

Williams - Some things I liked, some things I didn't like.  It's fair to say he's not even close to a replacement for Powe.  He definitely doesn't have that inside presence.  I'd say he's marginally better than Mikki Moore.  He really shouldn't get many minutes, and I wouldn't be disappointed if he spent most of the season on the inactive roster.

Giddens - I'm glad to say, I liked this kid's defense.  He looked very alert, like Tony used to.  But all I can say is, with offense like that it's no wonder he's inactive.  With some more work, he might turn into an NBA player.  *Enter D-League*  I'm probably gonna join the consensus that this year or next is his last year as a Celtic.  In 2011 he's set to make 2 mil, and in 2012 it's 3 mil.  Plus, he's pretty old right?  Absolutely no reason we should keep him for that much money.

EDIT:  How could I forget...

SWEETNEY - I can't imagine he'll ever play in the NBA again, but the ball don't lie.  At this point, I couldn't say he's better than Sheldon, but it's a definite possibility.

We've got four real ballers.  'Sheed's gonna be the most important Celtics 6th man since Bill Walton.  Daniels, at least so far seems to be all that Doc's been raving about.  I *love* Eddie Money.  BBD looks to be in great shape; he showed last year that he's good enough to be a 6th man, and for us he's more like 9th.

Beyond that, Scal looked solid, looked like the guy he was before his concussions; if he's #10 or #11, we're OK.  Not sure I want to trade him right now.  Sheldon looked pretty decent for a 5th or 6th big, I want to re-watch his play tonight but he seemed fairly athletic, grabbed some boards, got his hands on a few shots.

Giddens needs to slow the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. down, he's fast, loose and out of control.

Hudson looks like he might have a chance to stick at the end of the rotation.

TA, let's just hope and pray...  at least we aren't counting on him at all.  Daniels is the player that TA *should* be.

Sweetney...  if he could lose about eighty poinds, I'd be raving about him.  He's got a great touch down low, but you've GOT to be able to move your feet on D.  Hell, he needs to be able to SEE his feet first!

I thought Sweetney showed what he showed when he was a Knick, and for a short time while with the Bulls before Skiles stopped playing him, was that his offensive game is very solid for a man of his size. He could easily be a go to guy in our second unit. He can take the hits and still finish, which should be considered quite valuable for an off the bench player.

Sweetney is just not a 2nd unit type of guy, especially on a team as good as this.  Even if he takes Sheldon's spot, he won't play many minutes.

I thought Sheeds intensity was just perfect, knocked down the 3, went for some lose balls, blocks a couple shots.

Rondo looked pretty bad when going for his own shots (jumper form looked improved but the shot was still off), but looked excellent setting up everyone else.

The offense started the game off like 7 for 7 and the whole starting 5 scored.

Ray looked awesome, very agile. Ray's scope seems to be set right on Miller's record.

KG = KG

Baby looked very agile and beautiful.

Sweetney looked fat, but good on the low block. BAD on the defense.

Hudson showed be some hustle, and some smarts. He looked pretty good for being a rookie.

Marquis was the best player on the team last night. Showed me his scoring, played good defense, and showed me his ability to set up other players. His ability to drive and kick is perfect for our bench. He had two very good plays that were run perfect, and resulted in 3's for both Sheed and Eddie.

Eddie = on point

PP looked like he was sacrificing his stats for allowing the rest of the team to get some flow.
